“Loved deeply for 5 years, but I don’t want you anymore”

Not long ago, a friend sent me a letter.

I was surprised to receive a letter because it’s rare nowadays.

In the letter, she wrote:

“I loved my boyfriend deeply for five years, but now I don’t want him anymore. We’ve been together for five years, but he never did anything for me. Every time he got drunk, he would pick a fight with me, as if everything I did was wrong. He never appreciated me. I thought I had loved him for many years and hoped he would change, but I was wrong.”

In relationships, the one who is favored always feels confident, while the one who can’t get it always stirs up.

When you love someone deeply, they may not cherish you. When you can’t have someone, you desperately chase after them.

Many believe time can change everything, but sometimes it can’t change a person’s heart.

Perhaps life is about doing things that are not worth doing in a limited time of beautiful youth.

However, one cannot always be so naive and ignorant. The day you realize it, the other person will lose you.

People who are not treated well will eventually leave.

Many think others love them so much that they can behave recklessly, believing they have a stronghold over the other person.

In fact, everyone has their limits, and people who are mistreated will eventually leave.

Many think their child is their treasure when they are around, but once they get married or the child marries, they may face torment from others.

Because few people love us like our parents do in this world, parents have many concerns.

Growing up, you realize not to expect the other person to love you with the same attitude as your parents. At the very least, in love, you and your partner should be equal.

When you give your all in a relationship, only to realize the other person doesn’t love you as much, you will be disappointed. You may persist, but if the other person continues to hurt you, you will leave.

Sometimes people fail to appreciate what they have.

There are two lines of poetry that say: “Sometimes people fail to appreciate what they have and become proud when they are favored.”

When someone deeply loves you, it’s not about how charming you are but about them appreciating you.

Many people search for someone who appreciates them, but such people are rare.

So, if you find someone who loves you deeply, it means they appreciate you. You should cherish such a person.

If someone is always criticizing you, making you feel worthless, confidence can help you improve. Being with someone who appreciates you will make you shine.

However, many fail to understand this and repeatedly hurt those who appreciate them, deeply wounding those who love them.

When you hurt someone deeply, they will eventually leave.

Many people know how to pursue a better life in adversity but fail to appreciate what they have in times of peace.

This applies to work and relationships.

Loving someone for a long time can become an obsession.

My friend told me she had loved her boyfriend for many years and now hoped he would change for her.

If you have known someone for only a few days or months, you will leave immediately if you disagree because you haven’t invested much.

But if you have been with someone for many years, you have invested not just time but also youth and money.

Sometimes, love at first is for the other person, but when you have given a lot and they don’t appreciate it, wanting their heart becomes an obsession.

When you want someone’s heart, it may not be about how much you love them but about your obsession.

People often see their efforts as crucial, especially in relationships. If you give a lot and get nothing in return, you may try harder in hopes of a change.

Sometimes, when you finally get what you wanted, you fail to cherish it because it was your obsession, not love.

Many love someone for years, only to realize they loved the person in the beginning and later became fixated on their own obsession.

Life is short; don’t let obsession ruin it.

People should know when to enjoy life and when to let go of knowledge.

So, when you have loved someone for many years, ask yourself if it’s love or just an obsession.

Many invest a lot in a relationship but don’t get the other person’s heart. If it’s your obsession causing trouble, it’s time to leave.

Many love someone for a long time but eventually decide to give up.

Someone who hurts you, who makes you feel like you’re enduring while loving them, is not worth loving. Mutual love is when both sides care for each other.

Someone who has loved you deeply for five years but hasn’t given you good days doesn’t have a loving or grateful heart. Everyone should know how to be grateful.

Some people think that after loving someone deeply for five years, they will suffer greatly if they give up. Sometimes, it’s wise to cut your losses.

Because in some relationships, no matter how much you give, it will never be satisfying. Some people will never appreciate no matter how much you give.

So, sometimes it’s better to give up early and leave to escape the suffering.
